At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.7% compared to 2020, reaching 11.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Czechia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.1% (from 14.1% in 2016).
