In 2023, Czechia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.7% compared to 2022, reaching 35,373.

Czechia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 40.5% (from 59,438 in 2018).
