In 2023, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 5.4% compared to 2022, reaching 11,826.

Slovakia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 31.4% (from 17,232 in 2018).
