Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2014, Czechia's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data decreased by 5.9% compared to 2013, reaching 41.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 86.9%.

Czechia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.3% (from 33.4% in 2009).
