Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1970, Czechia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 2.3% compared to 1969, reaching 152,178.

Czechia ranks 12th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.5% (from 132,960 in 1965).
