Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1989, Czechia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 3.5% compared to 1988, reaching 243,931.

Czechia ranks 11th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.3% (from 213,324 in 1984).
