Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1995, Czechia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 1.9% compared to 1994, reaching 285,096.

Czechia ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.3% (from 251,632 in 1990).
