In 2021, Czechia's children (aged less than 18) at risk of poverty or social exclusion increased by 3.1% compared to 2020, reaching 39.9.

Czechia accounts for 54.3% of the EU-27 total of 73.5.

Czechia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.9% (from 49.2 in 2016).
