Housing cost overburden rate by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Czechia's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status increased by 1.1% compared to 2023, reaching 9.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 8.2%.

Czechia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.3% (from 6.9% in 2019).
