Housing cost overburden rate by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Poland's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status decreased by 11.9% compared to 2023, reaching 5.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.2%.

Poland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.3% (from 6.0% in 2019).
