In 2016, Czechia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor decreased by 7.9% compared to 2015, reaching 8.20.

Czechia accounts for 53.9% of the EU-27 total of 15.2.

Czechia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 31.1% (from 11.9 in 2011).
