Share of women researchers by sector of performance

In 2021, Czechia's share of women researchers by sector of performance decreased by 1.8% compared to 2020, reaching 27.1.

Czechia accounts for 80.3% of the EU-27 total of 33.7.

Czechia ranks 26th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 26.7 in 2016).
