At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Denmark's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.7% compared to 2020, reaching 11.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

Denmark ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.7% (from 12.0% in 2016).
