Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2017, Denmark's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.6% compared to 2016, reaching 12.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.5%.

Denmark ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.5% (from 15.8% in 2012).
