In 2018, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.9% compared to 2017, reaching 19.3%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.
Estonia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.2% (from 17.2% in 2013).
