At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.8% compared to 2017, reaching 20.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Latvia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 18.9% in 2013).
