In 2007, Estonia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine decreased by 5.5% compared to 2006, reaching 523,800.

Estonia ranks 23rd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.7% (from 400,700 in 2002).
