Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2023, Estonia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 4.0% compared to 2022, reaching 24.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Estonia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 23.6% in 2018).
