Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2024, Estonia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 8.3% compared to 2023, reaching 22.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.0%.

Estonia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 23.7% in 2019).
