Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1982, Estonia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 1.9% compared to 1981, reaching 33,059.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.8% (from 29,850 in 1977).
