Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1978, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1977, reaching 782,521.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 756,198 in 1973).
