Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1981, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1980, reaching 795,741.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 772,075 in 1976).
