Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1979, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1978, reaching 677,274.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 650,352 in 1974).
