Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1987, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.9% compared to 1986, reaching 720,578.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 692,408 in 1982).
