Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1989, Estonia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1988, reaching 731,392.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 703,214 in 1984).
