Housing cost overburden rate by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Estonia's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status increased by 13.2% compared to 2023, reaching 8.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 8.2%.

Estonia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 95.5% (from 4.4% in 2019).
