At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.7% compared to 2017, reaching 19.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

France ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.1% (from 17.6% in 2013).
