At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2018, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.3% compared to 2017, reaching 26.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.5% (from 27.5% in 2013).
