At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2005, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.5% compared to 2004, reaching 13.7%.

France ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.4% (from 16.0% in 2000).
