At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2005, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2004, reaching 20.8%.

Italy ranks 4th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 19.0% in 2000).
