In 2024, France's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 6.4% compared to 2023, reaching 8.30.

France accounts for 101.2% of the EU-27 total of 8.20.

France ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.2% (from 7.40 in 2019).
