In 2024, Belgium's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status decreased by 8.5% compared to 2023, reaching 4.30.

Belgium accounts for 52.4% of the EU-27 total of 8.20.

Belgium ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.4% (from 4.80 in 2019).
