At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.5% compared to 2005, reaching 12.5%.

Germany ranks 19th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.6% (from 11.0% in 2001).
