At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2006, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.5% compared to 2005, reaching 13.2%.

France ranks 16th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 13.0% in 2001).
