At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2000, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 9.1% compared to 1999, reaching 10.0%.

Germany ranks 16th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 33.3% (from 15.0% in 1995).
