Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2016, Germany's population change increased by 6.7% compared to 2015, reaching 9.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.9.

Germany ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.7% (from 8.3 in 2011).
