Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2006, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.6% compared to 2005, reaching 84.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 84.0%.

Germany ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 83.3% in 2001).
