Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2007, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.4% compared to 2006, reaching 85.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 84.6%.

Germany ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.9% (from 83.1% in 2002).
