Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2009, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.7% compared to 2008, reaching 86.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 84.1%.

Germany ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 82.7% in 2004).
