Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2019, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2018, reaching 89.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 86.2%.

Germany ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 88.1% in 2014).
