In 2025, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households with at least one dependent child by work intensity increased by 4.3% compared to 2024, reaching 62.9.

Germany accounts for 87.1% of the EU-27 total of 72.2.

Germany ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.1% (from 52.8 in 2020).
