In 2015, Germany's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 4.0% compared to 2014, reaching 463,929.

Germany ranks 1st out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.8% (from 397,341 in 2010).
