In 2015, Austria's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 7.4% compared to 2014, reaching 79,152.

Austria ranks 8th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.6% (from 88,508 in 2010).
