In 2013, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 13.8% compared to 2012, reaching 53,810.

Greece ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.2% (from 53,928 in 2008).
