Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2006, Greece's population change increased by 4.1% compared to 2005, reaching 10.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3.

Greece ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.5% (from 9.4 in 2001).
