Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2009, Greece's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 6.1% compared to 2008, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.7%.

Greece ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 8.3% in 2004).
