Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Greece's main indicators increased by 8.0% compared to 2016, reaching 24.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.1%.

Greece ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 49.5% (from 16.4% in 2012).
