Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, the EU-27 figure for share of energy from renewable sources was 11.2%.

That is a 2.2% rose versus 2023 (11.0%).

Over the five years before that, the EU-27 aggregate moved 27.2% higher.

Across member states, Sweden reported the highest value (26.4%, 2024) and Croatia the lowest (0.9%, 2024) — a ratio of 28.2× between the two ends of the range.
