In 1999, Greece's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.0% compared to 1998, reaching 81.6%.

Greece ranks 20th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 80.3% in 1994).
