In 2000, Greece's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.1% compared to 1999, reaching 81.7%.

Greece ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 80.3% in 1995).
